Small Anne: I want the lamp on.

Me: We don't need the lamp on, it's bright outside and that makes it bright in the house.

Small Anne: Why is it bright outside?

Me: Because the sun is out. It's daytime.

Small Anne: But I don't want it to be daytime. I want it to be nighttime. I want it to be nighttime right nooooooooooooooooooooow.

Does anyone know why I'm not getting a notification when someone replies to one of my replies? My LJ messages show when someone replies to one of my own posts, and it used to show me when you guys replied to one of my replies on your posts, but now it doesn't. Oh man. I am never going to get caught up on anything, let alone LJ, at the rate I'm going. Small Anne has had a couple of rough days and nights. She came down with a pretty bad cold--stuffed-up nose, bad phlegmy cough, and just general, all-around irritability. Wednesday night was hell. The last few days have been a blur. Small Anne seems to have begun teething.
